Faced with the choice of physical therapy or rowing, the idea of being cooped up in a small office room quickly pushed Chris towards the sport. Starting in Fairfield County, Chris was coached by a myriad of coaches. After both national and international success, Chris was later recruited by and attended the rowing power house University of Washington.

Since inception, Chris’ coaching and program has earned accolades including National Championships in the Men’s quad, Men’s 8+, and a silver in the Women’s quad. Additionally, his athletes have won gold and bronze medals at the Crash B Indoor World Championships. His athletes have been invited to be part of the Junior National Team system and others have been recruited and gone on to some of the top schools in the country including Princeton, Columbia, UPenn, Yale, Cornell, University of Washington, Cal Berkeley, and Stanford.
